On Christmas Eve morning,  Kim and Frank D. ran to the pet store to get a few holiday treats for their beloved cats. Lo and behold, “Cold Nose, Warm Heart Dog Rescue” was having an adoption event. It didn’t take long before they spotted the most beautiful Boxer/Pitbull mix puppy with the saddest eyes hiding in the back of her crate. All of her siblings had quickly been adopted, and she was all alone. Who on earth could leave a puppy all alone, especially on Christmas Eve?

The puppies had traveled a remarkable distance from a kill shelter on the Tennessee and Virginia border, and after hearing the gorgeous pup’s story, it took less than 10 minutes of holding her to decide  where her forever home was going to be!

Bristol is the perfect addition to their home in Chester, NJ. She lives her doggie brother and her kitty siblings. To this day, those big, pleading eyes still allow her to get away with a lot more than she should!

Cold Nose Warm Heart Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs from high-kill shelters.   Through a network of committed volunteers and foster homes, they are able to rescue dogs, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well matched, thoroughly screened forever homes.
